Osman Aden Osman is a graduate of PSU and OSU with Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and BS in Computer Engineering, respectively.

Osman  is a Technical Support Engineer with Nikon Precision in Hillsboro. I support Intel Hillsboro R&D facility as Technical Support Engineer. I have been with Nikon since 2005. Osman as Field Service Engineer, and then led the field group, and now part of the Technical Support Group.

Osman has been a volunteer board member with the Muslim Community Center of Portland since 2010, performing financial management duties and now the treasury responsibilities.

Osman and his wife, Layla have three awesome kids who live in Beaverton, Oregon.

Judith Mowry has over 33 years’ experience in conflict resolution, organization development, policy facilitation and racial justice activism. Before coming to OEHR, Judith had worked as a consultant as a founding partner of Full Circle Consulting, director of mediation services for a non-profit providing a wide variety of mediation programing, including restorative justice programs, and for the  Office of Neighborhood Involvement as the Effective Engagement specialist.

Judith is also the co-founder of the Restorative Justice Project on Gentrification and partnered in developing the Community Residential Siting Program for the City of Portland.

Judith is closely involved with all OEHR programs, becoming a Interim Director, working with bureau staff and leadership on implementing equity and on developing policy to institutionalize effective equity practices.

Peter began his career at Safeco Insurance before transitioning to work with his brother-in-law and later joining Johnson & Higgins, a renowned private broker. In 1993, he established his own agency, Northrup Corporation, which now serves over 350 commercial clients alongside personal and executive risk accounts.

Jenni Pullen

Jenni Pullen

Board Member

Jenni has dedicated her career to public service working for the City of Portland in Crime Prevention, and eventually supervising the program, along with the Office of Violence Prevention. Today, Jenni is the People Services Manager for the city’s Community Safety Division working to build a culture of equity and anti-racism across all public safety service areas.

Jenni is proud to have served on the board of Ride Connection, volunteered as a RVA for District Attorney Rod Underhill, and also volunteered as a self-defense instructor for WomenStrength (now named Rose City Self-Defense.)

She is honored to be a new board member with SACOO and looks forward to making a positive impact in this role.

She enjoys cooking, swimming, reading, and crocheting. She loves camping with her husband and two kids during summer time in the beautiful PNW.

A native to Portland Oregon, Jenni Pullen graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government.

Ron Silver

Ron Silver retired in August, 2015 after 33 years as an Assistant United States Attorney. Ron was the Chief of the Civil Division here in Oregon from 2008-2014 and spent his last year as Senior Counsel for Community Engagement. Ron worked with the Somali community in his professional role, helping to ensure the civil rights of Somali students. He also volunteers with students at the Muslim Educational Trust and at many other schools throughout the Portland and Vancouver area teaching about the history of the Civil Rights movement in America. Among his many recognitions, in 2002 Ron was honored by the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association with their Public Justice Award for his enforcement of the nation’s Fair Housing laws.
